STORAGE

A 90-minute one-act play

Storage has been presented at Dixon Place, Theater for the New City, and Greenwich House.

Bronwyn, a 60+ year old hospital social worker and cabaret singer, hires Matthew, a 30+ year old gay man and former media film technician, now unemployed and survivor of a drug overdose, to help her clean out her storage unit. Bronwyn and Matthew have known each other several years. They met in a West Village piano bar. They have laughed and sung together. He has recorded her shows. Bronwyn, concerned about Matthew's recent hospitalization, hires Matt in the hope of getting to know him better and to help. Matt needs a job and also wants to help.
